40 at 40 campaign

For 40 years Humanities Montana has been providing relevant and insightful programs to citizens across the state. We invite you to celebrate this milestone by contributing to our new 40 at 40 fundraising campaign.

40 at 40 aims to add $40,000 to Humanities Montana's endowment in 2012—an endowment that both secures and expands our permanent financial base, and serves to provide a predictable source of income for such things as our Montana Conversations programs, grants to other humanities-supporting organizations around the state, book festivals and more.

Direct, one-time gifts are always helpful and always welcome. You may also give by making a pledge—a formal statement of intention to make a gift to the organization. With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time, allowing you to give more generously than you originally may have considered. As with a one-time gift, each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income tax charitable deduction.

We also invite you to consider leaving a legacy for the humanities in Montana. Planned giving allows donors to maintain access to income during their lifetimes, provides estate and tax planning tools, and builds permanent wealth for Humanities Montana to continue serving Montanans through grants and programs to advance the humanities in our state. More information about planned giving is available here.

Help us continue to support critical thinking, and to nurture civil and informed conversations among Montanans.

Help secure the future of the humanities in Montana by giving to the 40 at 40 fundraising campaign today.
