The Ground Right Under Our Feet

Program Description

Students will engage in thinking about the differences between what and how they learn today in Montana compared to long ago. Using primary source documents of short narratives, artwork and maps, they will work in small groups to consider the knowledge behind food acquisition, orienteering, communication, and survival. Together, they will present their findings to the whole group. The geographical focus can be tailored to the various regions of Montana.
