New Speaker Bureau Programs Announced
Humanities Montana is pleased to announce new Speakers Bureau presentations available in Montana Conversations and Speakers in the Schools! New speakers include Crystal Algeria, Ray Curtis, Heidi DeStefano, Robin Kolb, and Leigh Larson. Longtime Humanities Montana presenter Melissa Kwasny has made her program, Ekphrastic Poetry: The Montana Museum Project, available to Montana Conversations. Moreover, we welcome speaker Lailani Upham, in collaboration with Carrie Lynn Bear Chief, and their new program, Documenting Sasquatch: An Indigenous Storytelling Journey! Big Sky Reads welcomes the North Lake County Public Library
Big Sky Reads awards stipends to rural book clubs. We welcome the newest recipient, The Bookfest Club at the North Lake County Public Library in Polson, Montana. The Bookfest Book Club meets on the third Saturday of the month from 10–11am in the Community Room at the North Lake County Public Library (102 1st Street East, Polson, Montana 59860). No meetings in June, July, August, or December.
